UTM coordinates are provided for route finding. Hiking suggestions are provided along the four-wheel-drive routes. Color photographs and a sturdy case make this an attractive package. The back of the guide offers a good primer for off-road driving first aid and other activities in the remote areas of the UAE. The guide describes plants and animals recommends equipment and offers detailed mapping.
