Four couples come together on the Pimms-soaked terrace: Patrick and Caroline who are rich; the Mobyns who are even richer; Stephen and Anne who arent rich at all and dont even have designer clothes; and Valerie and Don who are just dreadful and really care about winning the tournament. Thus begins two days of tempers shocks revelations the arrival of an uninvited guest and the realization that the weekend is about anything but tennis.
