Tucked away in the universe is a planet called Tharth with two continents Kamalon and Krete peopled by two races much like those on Earth: The Kamalonians are a peaceful God-loving agrarian populace while the Kretians are war-like and industrialized who have vowed to enslave the Kamalonians to exact revenge for hatreds developed over hundreds of years. Now the Kamalonians are desperate for warriors to help them fight the impending war. So they look outward to the universe and snatch ace WWII fighter pilots Ross Murdock and Richard Carlson and their crew out of the skies of Germany and into a completely different war and world.
